Degree Equivalence

Requirements for obtaining Equivalence Certificates of Educational Documents from UAE Ministry of Education/Higher Education

  1. Two photocopies of Degrees/Diploma/Certificates with Marks Sheets/Transcripts along with two photographs of the applicant
  2. Universities/boards verification fee which may be paid through a bank demand draft or online transaction (as specified in the attached list) in the name of the respective university/board. A separate fee has to be paid for every degree/ certificate.
  3. Pay the courier charges at the TCS counter in the Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi or the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai to send the above-mentioned documents to the concerned university/board.
  4. Fill out the requisite proforma and submit it along with the above-mentioned documents at the reception of the Embassy/Consulate.
  5. The Embassy/Consulate will forward the documents to the concerned University/Board along with its cover letter through a courier service.
  6. The concerned university/board sends back the verification letter to the Embassy/Consulate in the prescribed format through a registered mail/ courier service.
  7. Subsequently, the Embassy/Consulate forwards the University’s verification letter along with its covering letter to the UAE Ministry of Higher Education through email with a copy to the applicant as well.
  8. The applicant may then apply for the issuance of an equivalence certificate through the web portal/mobile application of the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and then follow up his/her case with the Ministry accordingly.
