Procedure for Transportation of Dead Bodies

Documents to be produced by relatives/ friends of the deceased in the UAE:

• Passport of deceased (Original + Photocopy).
• Death Certificate (Original + Photocopy)/Death Notification.
• Embassy or Consulate’s Certificate i.e. No Objection Certificate (Original + Photocopy).
• Booking an Airline for transportation of Dead body.
• Embalming Certificate (Original + Photocopy).
• Passport and visa copy of the accompanying passenger.

Please Note:

1. Dead bodies should be delivered at the Cargo Section a minimum of 6 hours before departure of the flight.
2. Unaccompanied coffins required an advance confirmation from the family that they would collect the dead body at the airport.
3. Accompanying passengers should hold a confirmed ticket.
