Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi visited the Embassy of Lebanon in Abu Dhabi today to sign the condolence book on the sad demise of Hussein al Husseini, former Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament. Amb Tirmizi extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the people and the Government of Lebanon and prayed for the departed soul.

He also lauded the role of late Speaker Hussein Al Husseini in being a key player in brokering and signing the Taif Agreement in 1990 which ended years of Civil War in Lebanon.
