Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel Hosts Vibrant Pakistani Art & Culture Exhibition
The Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel hosted a captivating art exhibition today, celebrating Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and artistic diversity. The event brought together artists from various nationalities, including Pakistan, Syria, Egypt and Lebanon, showcasing Pakistan’s cultural diversity and its growing appeal as a tourist destination.
H.E. Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Envoy to the UAE, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his keynote address, Ambassador Tirmizi commended the hotel’s management for organizing an event that highlighted Pakistan’s profound cultural heritage and vast tourism potential. He emphasized the role of cultural diplomacy in fostering people-to-people connections.
Art, music, cuisine, and sports have the power to unite people. For greater harmony and peace, we must encourage more cultural exchanges, said the Ambassador. “The UAE’s beauty lies in its ability to bring together over 200 nationalities, creating a melting pot of cultures”, he added.
The exhibition featured a fusion of traditional and contemporary artworks by artists from diverse backgrounds. Following the inauguration, Ambassador Tirmizi took a guided tour, engaging with artists and appreciating their creative expressions.
Mr. Iftikhar Hamdani, Area General Manager of Bahī Ajman Palace Hotel and Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, welcomed the Ambassador and expressed gratitude for his presence. He reiterated the hotel’s commitment to promoting cultural exchanges and supporting initiatives that bridge communities through art.
Adding a youthful perspective, Mr. Sarim Hamdani, the event’s youngest speaker, highlighted the potential of Pakistan’s youth in driving progress and reclaiming the nation’s historic glory.
The ceremony concluded with Ambassador Tirmizi distributing certificates to the participating artists in recognition of their contributions to art and culture. A special cake-cutting ceremony was also held to commemorate Pakistan Day, adding a festive touch to the event.
