Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi attended the fifth graduation ceremony of Bath Spa University (a British university based in Ras-al-Khaimah-UAE) in Dubai on 27 August 2023. The event was attended by a large number of diplomats including Ambassador of Philippines to the UAE Mr. Alfonso Ferdinand A. Ver, academicians and other professionals. Vice Chancellor of the University Ms. Sue Rigby and CEO Raja Sajjad Hussain were also present. Around 165 post-graduates and under-graduates were awarded with certificates while the high achievers were also conferred with medals.

Ambassador Tirmizi in his remarks congratulated the graduating students, their teachers and parents; and praised Bath Spa University for rendering quality and affordable education in various disciplines of the current need. He appreciated the University for achieving many milestones in a short span of time. The Ambassador encouraged the graduates to move forward and have faith in their talents. He motivated them to be focused on their objectives and keep their goals in mind as they have the capacity to accomplish incredible things.

Ambassador Tirmizi also appreciated the leadership and management of the University for organizing such a great event. He suggested that the Bath Spa University should benefit from the expertise of high ranking Universities of Pakistan by collaboration in exchange of students and faculty members. He added that frequent seminars and workshops of the universities should be held for mutual interest.

سفیرِپاکستان فیصل نیاز ترمذی نے 27 اگست 2023 کو دبئی میں باتھ سپا یونیورسٹی (برطانوی یونیورسٹی جو راس الخیمہ-یو اے ای میں واقع ہے) کی پانچویں گریجویشن تقریب میں شرکت کی۔ تقریب میں سفارت کاروں بشمول متحدہ عرب امارات میں فلپائن کے سفیرالفونسو فرڈیننڈ اے ور، ماہرین تعلیم اور دیگر پیشہ ور افراد کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔ تقریب میں یونیورسٹی کی وائس چانسلر سو رِگبی اور سی ای او راجہ سجاد بھی موجود تھے۔ تقریباً 165 پوسٹ گریجویٹس اور انڈر گریجویٹس کو اسناد سے نوازا گیا جبکہ اعلیٰ کامیابی حاصل کرنے والوں کو میڈلز سے بھی نوازا گیا۔

سفیرِ پاکستان نے اپنے کلمات میں فارغ التحصیل طلباء، ان کے اساتذہ اور والدین کو مبارکباد دی۔ اور موجودہ ضرورت کے مختلف شعبوں میں معیاری اور سستی تعلیم فراہم کرنے پر باتھ سپا یونیورسٹی کو سراہا ۔ انہوں نے قلیل عرصہ میں بہت سے سنگ میل عبور کرنے پر یونیورسٹی کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا۔ سفیر ِ پاکستان نے فارغ التحصیل طلباء کو اپنی صلاحیتوں پر بھروسہ رکھنے کی تلقین کی ۔ اُنہوں نے انہیں اپنے مقاصد پر توجہ مرکوز کرنے اور اپنے اہداف کو مدِّ نظر رکھ کر آگے بڑھنے کی کی ترغیب دی کیونکہ اُن میں ناقابل یقین چیزوں کے حصول کی صلاحیت موجود ہے۔

سفیر ِ پاکستان نے پُروقار تقریب کے انعقاد پر یونیورسٹی کی قیادت اور انتظامیہ کو بھی سراہا۔ انہوں نے تجویز دی کہ باتھ سپا یونیورسٹی کو طلباء اور فیکلٹی ممبران کے تبادلے کے ذریعے پاکستان کی اعلیٰ درجہ کی یونیورسٹیوں کی مہارت سے استفادہ کرنا چاہیے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ باہمی استفادہ کے لیے جامعات کے مابین سیمینارز اور ورکشاپس کا متواتر انعقاد کیا جانا چاہیے۔
