Minister of State for Petroleum, Musadik Masood Malik was the Chief Guest at a reception hosted by the Embassy of for leading oil companies of and participating in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) on 02 November 2022. ADIPEC is the biggest energy exhibition in the Asia Pacific region.
In his remarks, the Minister Malik invited i and businessmen to invest in and utilise significant incentives being offered in downstream and upstream sectors of the country, especially in setting up new refining facilities in . He also highlighted that is fast becoming an energy transit corridor by tapping rich energy resources of the Gulf and Central Asia. He assured the support of his Government in promoting ease of doing business in to attract foreign investments in the energy sector.

He underscored that ADIPEC had provided an excellent opportunity to to engage with the world’s leading oil companies under one roof. He also noted that it was imperative for the oil sector of to work with their counterparts to meet the rising energy needs of the country.
Ambassador Tirmizi assured the delegates of the Embassy’s unflinching support to the private sector in further advancing the business ties between the two brotherly countries.
